I enjoy serving and investing in PEOPLE!

NOW is an exciting time to be involved in real estate, but my story began years ago….
     My husband John and I became licensed as real estate agents in the 1970’s, living and working in the Portage and Summit County areas.  From the beginning we found real estate involvement to be an adventure… assisting sellers in finding the “sweet spot” to list their home and then walking through the transaction with them until the check was in the bank… or helping buyers search the market until they would settle upon just the “right” house, work through and offer and financing, close the transaction, and move in!
      As time went on, we became involved in additional aspects of real estate.  For many years, John was an appraiser for various lenders in the area, and I was his office manager.  This gave me great experience in understanding appraisal techniques and estimating appropriate market value… of significant benefit to the buyers and sellers I now serve.  Additionally, we began to enjoy the benefits of investing in real estate, allowing us to know what to look for and better understand profit and loss, tax advantages, and property appreciation.
     At the end of the school year in 2020, I retired from over thirty years of teaching.  This has allowed me to focus on the various aspects of real estate, and am able to spend more than just summers investing in my “second” career.
     I enjoy serving and investing in PEOPLE …. And I have found real estate is a great way to do that!
